This Refund Policy applies to the TrafficWatch mobile application ("App") developed and operated by Tebibyte Infotech ("we", "us", or "our"). TrafficWatch offers a Premium subscription at &rupee;99/year (Indian Rupees Ninety-Nine per year), billed through Google Play Billing. This policy outlines the terms governing refunds and cancellations for Premium subscriptions.
By purchasing a Premium subscription, you agree to the terms set forth in this Refund Policy.
2. Google Play Automatic Refund Window
All TrafficWatch Premium subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. Google Play provides an automatic 48-hour refund window from the time of purchase. During this period:
- You may request a refund directly through Google Play without needing to contact us
- The refund is processed automatically by Google and typically reflects in your account within 3–5 business days
- No reason is required for refunds within this window
How to request a refund within 48 hours: Open the Google Play Store app → Tap your profile icon → Tap "Payments & subscriptions" → Tap "Budget & history" → Select the TrafficWatch purchase → Tap "Refund".
3. Refunds After 48 Hours
If more than 48 hours have elapsed since your purchase and you believe you are entitled to a refund, you may contact our support team at support@trafficwatch.co.in. Refund requests made after the 48-hour window will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be granted under the following circumstances:
- You were charged due to a technical error or billing malfunction
- The App is consistently non-functional and we are unable to resolve the issue
- An unauthorised purchase was made on your account
Please include the following information in your refund request:
- Your Google Play order number (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- The email address associated with your Google account
- A brief description of the reason for your refund request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 7 business days.
4. Pro-Rated Refunds
TrafficWatch Premium is priced at &rupee;99/year, which is a nominal amount. Due to the low subscription cost, we do not offer pro-rated refunds for any unused portion of a subscription period. This applies regardless of when during the billing cycle a cancellation or refund request is made.
5. How to Cancel Your Subscription
You may cancel your TrafficWatch Premium subscription at any time. Cancellation is managed through Google Play, not through the TrafficWatch App. To cancel:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device
- Tap your profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap "Payments & subscriptions"
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Select TrafficWatch from the list
- Tap "Cancel subscription" and follow the on-screen instructions
Important: Uninstalling the TrafficWatch App does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the Google Play Store to stop future charges.
6. Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel your TrafficWatch Premium subscription:
- Your Premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged for the next billing cycle
- After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the free tier with limited functionality
- No refund will be issued for the remaining days in your current billing period

For significant changes, we will notify you via push notification or email. Continued use of the App or subscription after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
9. Governing Law
This Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
