Information We Collect

TrafficWatch collects the following information to provide its services:

Account Data: Phone number used for authentication via Firebase.
Route Data: Origin and destination coordinates of your saved routes.
Location Data: GPS location when using Live Monitor mode or adding routes (only while app is in use).
Traffic Data: Travel time history for your routes to build patterns and baselines.
Device Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging token for push notifications.

How We Use Your Data

To monitor traffic conditions on your saved routes.
To send you alerts when traffic conditions change significantly.
To build traffic pattern analysis (best time to travel).
To improve the accuracy of traffic condition assessments.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Route coordinates are sent to HERE Maps API solely for fetching traffic information.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on our servers. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.

Location Permissions

Location access is only used when you explicitly open Live Monitor mode or the Add Route screen. We do not track your location in the background.
